General Terms & Conditions

  1. Admission is at ticket holder’s risk. RizzlesCon organizers and the venue shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the premises.
  2. You are responsible for your own belongings; we will not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen items.
  3. Food, drink and accommodation is not included in the ticket price (unless specified)
  4. Registration is via the authorized ticket vendor only, Ticketleap.
  5. Travel is not included in the RizzlesCon ticket fee. It is the responsibility of each attendee to make their way to the Conference venue in adequate time. The RizzlesCon organizers are not liable for any delays or non-attendance resulting from delayed or cancelled transportation.
  6. You are fully responsible for reserving your own accommodation. Please use the codes we provide as all room bookings count towards our ‘room block’ which enables us to have complimentary meeting space within the hotel.
  7. RizzlesCon is not responsible for unissued visas to enter the USA. If you need a Visa letter, leave plenty of time and please contact info@rizzlescon.net for a letter of invitation.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable (unless the event is canceled) and non-transferable.
  2. If you find yourself with exceptional circumstances meaning you can no longer attend the event, you need to contact our event organizers who will consider a refund on a case by case basis.
  3. If you are due a refund for an agreed upon reason, you will received your money within 30 days of the event close.
  4. If you are a “No Show” on the date of the event and have made no effort to notify us (either by phone or email) that you cannot attend, no credit whatsoever will be offered.
  5. No partial refund will be given for unused days (ex. If you attend on Saturday but cannot attend on Sunday, no refund will be given for the unused Sunday portion).

Admission

  1. Weapons, weapon-like objects, objects resembling a weapon or pyrotechnic objects (such as fireworks) are strictly prohibited. This also includes costume parts. Anyone caught with prohibited objects will have to surrender the object and especially refusal to do so will result in immediate expulsion from the convention and possible report to respective authorities.
  2. Children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult; Attendees aged 16 or over are classed as Adults.
  3. Tickets are also non-transferable for security reasons. We require the name of ALL ticket holders at the time of purchase
  4. The organizers of RizzlesCon 2012 reserve the right to refuse admission to the event for any reason.

Participation and Behavior

  1. You must at all times behave in a manner respectful to our guests, hotel staff, volunteer staff, and fellow attendees.
  2. Excessive use of obscene language, abusive behavior, or threatening behavior directed to any other RizzlesCon attendee is not conducive to a fun environment and attendees may be ejected from the Convention. If you are removed from the event, you will not be entitled to any refund.
  3. Please remember to be patient while waiting in lines, everyone is as eager to interact with the guests as you are, and being rude to other attendees or volunteer staff won’t get you anywhere.
  4. When asking questions, please be prepared and think out your question in advance so you know what you want to say. Do not take up valuable question time by rambling; try to get straight to your question.
  5. Please do not ask guests about personal issues and avoid political or religious questions.

Special Guests

  1. Guests are all agreed in writing prior to announcing on the RizzlesCon website.
  2. Guests may refuse to sign unofficial/unapproved items.
  3. Guests may have merchandise such as photographs on sale and charge for extra signatures.
  4. More often than not, we have to wait for guests to give us their arrival information; therefore we can not always tell you in advance when these particular autograph sessions will occur until the convention schedule is posted at this website a few days before the event.
  5. Although Special Guests are confirmed in writing, please understand that appearances are subject to last-minute work engagements, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen personal conflicts (as with all conventions and high-profile celebrities).
  6. All guests understand the desire of the fans for them to be at the convention and will do everything possible to be present. However, please understand prior to purchasing your tickets that you are buying a ticket for the event itself and not for specific guest appearance(s).
  7. Our event will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not and therefore we cannot issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest is not able to attend.

Audio & Video Recording and taking of photographs

  1. Upon registration you agree on the fact that there might be taken video, photo and/or sound material
  2. No filming is allowed at the event without prior written permission from RizzlesCon organizers.
  3. Usage of recorded material for economic or commercial reasons is only allowed when given the written approval by the organizer.
  4. Basically, taking photographs is allowed. However, it can be prohibited in certain rooms or during certain times. These will be announced accordingly.

The Vendors Hall

  1. No trading without the consent of the RizzlesCon organizers.
  2. Contact info@rizzlescon.net to participate in the vendor’s hall.

Please Note:

RizzlesCon reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend these Registration Terms & Conditions to remedy administrative, including without limitation, typographical errors.

All conditions shown on program, tickets, updates and website are to be read together with all other statements or directives either shown on the ticket, updates, displayed on the premises or website.
